I'm driving to RAK for the long weekend with the family and I want to get my 2019 Mazda CX5 checked before we go. Nothing urgent, just an oil change and a quick once over of fluids, tyres, belts, and brakes. The problem is I've left it last minute and most places I called are booked up for days. A colleague mentioned Fast Car Service Sharjah and said they do walk-ins for basic maintenance. Has anyone used them for a pre trip inspection? I don't need anything fancy, just someone reliable who won't tell me I need a bunch of unnecessary repairs because they see a family coming in. Also how long does a typical oil change and inspection take there? I can wait an hour or so but not half a day. Do they use synthetic oil for Japanese cars or should I bring my own? I'm also curious about cost, I don't want to be overcharged just because it's last minute. Any other recommendations for quick service garages in Sharjah that actually do a proper inspection and not just drain the oil and send you on your way would be great. Really hoping to get this done tomorrow morning before we leave. Thanks in advance.
