I've got a 2017 Camaro SS that I daily drive and also take to the track maybe three or four times a year. Lately I've noticed the rear end feels a bit vague when I push it hard through corners, almost like it's wandering or taking a set slower than it used to. On the highway it's fine, no bouncing or weird noises, but under hard acceleration I feel a bit of a squat that I don't remember being there before. I'm wondering if the original shocks are finally giving up at around 90,000km. A buddy suggested I look into the Comprehensive Camaro Shock Absorber Replacement from Suspension Repair Dubai because they apparently deal with performance cars and can recommend whether to go with OEM or something like Bilstein. I'm not sure if what I'm feeling is actually the shocks or maybe just the rear subframe bushes which I've heard can be a weak point on these cars. Does anyone know a good way to tell the difference? Also if I do replace the shocks, should I do all four corners or just the rears? I'd prefer to keep the budget reasonable but I also don't want to create an imbalance that makes handling worse. The car has magnetic ride control which I know makes things more expensive. Is it worth keeping that system or should I delete it and go with conventional shocks if I plan to keep the car for a few more years? Any advice from someone who's been down this road would be awesome. Thanks.
